AISLE reported 16 CVE-assigned vulnerabilities in Wireshark on September 16, using the findings to explain its AI-assisted code-analysis approach. Wireshark is widely used to inspect network traffic, so failures in the code that reads packets affect a tool defenders rely on.
The company identifies four findings as high severity and describes memory-safety errors in individual protocol parsers. It also provides a demonstration in which a crafted input crashes Wireshark.
A demonstrated crash establishes a service-disruption failure. It does not make all 16 findings critical or show that each one allows an attacker to run arbitrary code. The affected component, conditions and maintainer fix remain specific to each advisory.
AISLE's competitive comparisons use its chosen test setup. They do not establish that another model would miss the same defects under different conditions.
