Murmell runs coding agents in separate terminal windows on one shared cloud workspace. Its supported clients include Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Kimi and OpenCode. Teammates see the same canvas, terminals and preview while working on the same project directory.
The product addresses conflicting edits through file reservations. According to Murmell, an agent claims paths before writing; another agent requesting the same file waits. A watcher attributes writes and snapshots collisions. Murmell says those rules are enforced by the cloud machine rather than left to each agent's instructions.
Users connect their existing agent subscriptions or API keys. Murmell charges for computing resources and collaboration, while provider usage is billed separately. The FAQ says project files also live in a private GitHub repository and are pushed before the cloud workspace is removed.
Its advertised autonomous Bots, which would work without an open canvas, are marked as coming soon. They should not be confused with the coding agents available inside the current workspace.
