Google's September 9, 2026 update lists the subscription tiers for voice commands in Gmail, Docs and Keep, alongside image editing in Pics and spreadsheet tools in Sheets. Each app has its own access requirements.
Voice commands can search Gmail messages, draft text in Docs and record notes in Keep. Gmail and Keep support the features on AI Plus, Pro and Ultra; Docs requires Pro or Ultra.
Pro and Ultra subscribers can also use Sheets canvas, which turns spreadsheet data into interactive mini-apps from a prompt, and Google Pics for image creation and editing. In the United States, those tiers include access to Gemini Spark connected with Chrome and Google Photos for web errands and photo tasks.
The September roundup collects earlier releases, including Sheets canvas in August and Pics earlier in September. The listed subscription access does not date all of those launches to September 9.
