Google Labs released six creator-built Flow Tools on September 23, 2026, drawing on workflows from sound designers, filmmakers, architects and digital storytellers. Each tool packages a specific creative task inside Google Flow, where users can also describe their own workflows.

Mondo Sónico generates background ambience and foley effects that stay synchronized with a project. The audio arrives on separate editable tracks, so sound designers can export individual stems. CaptionCast transcribes speech and turns it into styled, animated multilingual captions.

For images and spatial design, ThumbnailForge combines an image, headline and prompt to produce social thumbnails. Surface creates material textures and maps them onto 3D walls, floors and ceilings, making it easier to compare finishes before building a full architectural scene.

These are tools built within Flow rather than six new AI models. Google says Flow media generation uses credits, so repeated experiments can consume the allowance on a user's plan.
