ChatGPT and Claude let users inspect active account sessions, while Perplexity offers a sign-out-all option without showing a device list, according to TechCrunch's August 15 guide. That difference affects how much a user can check before removing access.

The guide places ChatGPT's Active Sessions list under Security and Login. An unfamiliar session can be logged out individually, or the user can log out everywhere. Claude's Account settings also list active sessions and allow individual termination or a full sign-out.

For Perplexity, the documented option is Sign out of all sessions in settings. The user then signs back in by email.

The guide recommends unique passwords and multi-factor authentication where supported. It describes Claude's email-link login as passwordless, so generic instructions to change a Claude password do not apply to that flow. These are the controls documented in the August guide, not a claim that every service exposes the same security settings.
