HumanLayer has published show-me, a skill that asks coding agents to explain work through compact visuals. It can turn a proposed change into a file tree or show the sequence of calls involved.

The skill is intended for both planning and review. Before implementation, an agent can show where a feature belongs and how its parts connect. Afterward, the same notation can highlight what changed in a large diff without repeating every untouched detail.

It includes several output forms, from plain-text component trees to state diagrams and HTML explanations. The agent can choose a simple representation for the task, while richer diagrams depend on what the chat interface can render.

Show-me is available in HumanLayer and can also be installed from the company’s skills repository for other coding agents. Users invoke the skill against a feature, pull request or current topic, or ask it to restate an earlier explanation visually.
