ElevenLabs released Music 2.5 on September 11 as ElevenMusic's default model for prompted and reference-based generation. The previous Music v2 remains available.
ElevenMusic Free includes five lossless downloads per day, while Pro includes 400 per month. ElevenLabs says Free users can use their creations commercially if they credit ElevenMusic. Downloading a track based on another artist's song is blocked.
The company says the permissions in place when a track is created stay with it after cancellation, downgrading or a later terms change. That describes ElevenMusic's stated usage permissions; it is not a promise that every generated track will receive copyright protection.
Music 2.5 is also available in ElevenCreative and the ElevenLabs API. The five-per-day allowance describes ElevenMusic Free, not a stated API quota. ElevenLabs' separate planned UMG remix platform is outside this release.
