Plaud is taking $249 preorders for Plaud One, earphones that record calls and come with a case for recording in-person conversations. Shipping is planned for the fourth quarter of 2026, initially in limited quantities.

The case supports an eSIM. Plaud says this will let users give instructions to its AI agents without reaching for a phone or computer. Its proposed workflows include follow-up emails and documents created from recorded conversations.

Those agent capabilities are expected in an update over the coming months, according to TechCrunch’s launch report. The preorder therefore does not include the completed agent workflows described in Plaud's plans.

Buyers receive 300 transcription minutes per month. Further transcription requires a paid plan, starting at $8.33 a month when billed annually.
