Nori's A3 is a $1,688 wheeled robot for recording demonstrations and running learned tasks. Nori Lab, its browser interface, saves demonstrations in LeRobot-compatible format so they can feed existing robot-policy training pipelines.
The robot's Raspberry Pi 5 handles sensors, motor control and protection routines. Language-model control and learned robot policies run on an off-board backend, according to Nori's August 22 research revision. That arrangement makes inference dependent on a network connection.
Each arm has seven powered joints plus a gripper, a stated 1.5 kg payload and 55 cm reach. The manufacturer lists four RGB cameras, lidar and six to eight hours of battery life. A telescoping column raises the arms from floor-level work to counters.
Nori's paper says the first A3 units shipped on July 21 and production continues in batches. The storefront advertises fall 2026 shipping and charges the full $1,688 rather than a deposit. The paper describes the hardware and control design; it does not report robot-task success rates.
