Instinct and Meta’s Muse began rolling out phone-calling features in announcements dated September 16, covered by TechCrunch the following day. The features let an assistant contact businesses instead of stopping at a suggested phone number or prepared message.
Instinct’s Concierge feature is intended for tasks such as booking a restaurant that does not take online reservations, joining an appointment cancellation list or discussing a cable bill. Founder Noah Shinn described an early-access rollout with broader availability planned later.
Meta said Muse could place outbound calls to US businesses, initially prioritizing people who had asked their assistant for the capability. That is a limited rollout, not an announcement that every Muse user can call any number in any country.
