Academa is building lecture videos from source code that describes what a teacher should say and draw. Its system combines text-to-speech narration with generated graphics, letting a language model produce a lesson as an editable program.

Correcting a conventional recorded lecture can require another recording session. With the lesson stored as code, an author can change an equation or an explanation and generate a revised version instead.

Academa says it has built the underlying technology. Its site presents lectures generated by a language model and lets visitors request one.

The founders also describe plans for personalized courses and questions answered with newly generated video. Those are part of the broader product vision; the demonstrated starting point is the editable lecture itself, with narration and graphics specified together.
